With drought threatening the country's food security, the City of Windhoek is turning to aquaponics to feed its residents in need.
Aquaponics is the marriage of aquaculture and hydroponics. which is the soil-less growing of plants.
NBC visited the just established aquaponic garden in Goreagab Residential Area, and witnessed its first harvest of vegetables from a shaded net.
