The Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) has launched a National High-Resolution Satellite Imagery for the entire country to be used during the census mapping exercise, by combining statistics and location.
The GeoPortal will help, among others, the ministries of Land Reform, Urban and Rural Development, Safety and many other agencies in land surveying and evidence-based planning.
NSA's Statistician General, Alex Shimuafeni shed more light on this.
