Language barrier results in fraud case postponement

The case of three men accused of fraud against the Ministry of Finance, involving more than N$3.5 billion dollars, had to be set aside today due to the absence of a Mandarin interpreter.
Scheduled to have been heard before the Windhoek Magistrate's Court on Tuesday, the case against the two Chinese nationals and their Namibian counterpart was postponed.
