The Ministry of Works and Transport is to review laws that govern the transport sector.
Giving a ministerial statement in the National Assembly, John Mutorwa says the review aims to create a conducive environment for growth in the sector that would directly uplift the economy.
For this reason, the ministry is working on new legislation such as the Roads, Overload Control Bill and the Road Safety Bills, as well as Architects and Quantity Surveying Professional Management, the Engineering and the Road Public Passenger Bills.
