President Geingob announces eight MPs

President Hage Geingob today announced the eight Members of Parliament, without voting rights, that he is allowed to appoint, ahead of his Cabinet portfolio announcement tomorrow.
"They are appointed by virtue of their status, special expertise, skill or experience and ensuring regional balance," read a statement from the Presidency.

The eight are Law Reform and Development Commission Director, Yvonne Dausab,
Emma Kantema-Gaomas, the Executive Director of the Ministry of Sport, Youth and National Service, Emma Theofilus, former Deputy Chairperson of the Children's Parliament, Natalia Goagoses, Former Chief Regional Officer for the Erongo Region, Veikko Nekundi, former Deputy Minister of Public Enterprises, former Health Minister Dr Kalumbi Shangula, Bank of Namibia Governor Iipumbu Shiimi and Rear Admiral Peter Hafeni Vilho.
