Rehoboth Emergency services conduct emergency response simulation exercise

Emergency services at Rehoboth, in conjunction with the town council, have been conducting an Emergency Response Simulation Exercise on the road between the town and Windhoek this morning.
The exercise is aimed at testing the readiness of all emergency services in cases of major emergencies on the road close to Rehoboth. It will also determine whether or not improvements to the emergency response plan of the town and its Emergency Task Force is needed.
The Rehoboth Emergency Task Force is made up of all road safety role players such as the Motor Vehicle Accident Fund, the Namibian Police and Defence Forces, hospitals, and the Roads Authority.
