The SWAPO Party has begun a public training programme to sensitise members on its constitution, code of conduct and organisation of elections in all the regions.
Party School rector, Marco Hausiku said the course, initiated in February this year, is to train a minimum of 1 000 members in each region annually, within a three-month timeframe.
He said the school already appointed tutors countrywide to spearhead the training course.
So far, interactive debates on various socio-economic and political issues are underway in Oshana, Oshikoto and Omusati.
Similarly, the training of senior cadres in regional structures had since been concluded between April and June.
He explained that training of the ruling party's parliamentarians and central committee members will be conducted from 13 to 14 July.
Since May last year, the school has enrolled 59 students in a one-year programme on political science, the first batch of whom are expected to graduate this September.
