Namibia records over 7 000 illegal abortions from April to December 2016

The Ministry of Health recorded 7 335 abortion cases between April and December last year. Only 138 of these were of a medical nature while the rest are non-medical or illegal street abortions.

They say they want the meat and tusks of the animal to be sold, to pay for property destroyed by the elephant bull and its herd since last month, when a man was trampled to death and several homes destroyed.
