Khomas Boxing rewards boxers
The Khomas Boxing Federation wants Namibians to take amateur boxing seriously, for the country to produce more world champions.
The federation rewarded some of the boxers who did exceptionally well at the Independence championships that took place at Rundu recently.
Speaking at the award ceremony, the federation’s chairman called on Namibians, stakeholders and business people to take amateur boxing seriously.
“For Namibian boxing to grow, and for one to have produced good quality boxers, we have to support amateur boxers in the country. Business communities must invest in these people, so that we can have different events”, said Jason Naule.
