The Khomas Football League launched in Windhoek

The 2017 edition of the Africa Day Youth Cup will see 12 teams - which are divided in three groups- compete against one another.
The tournament, which was established last year, will see boys and girls from the regions in action.
Officiating at the occasion, NFA Vice President Crooks Nunuheb stressed that the competition is vital for the participants to interact and learn from each other as a way to develop their skills and increase their discipline.
Nunuheb said it also served as an opportunity for the khomas youth to reconnect and recommit themselves in support of all government intervention to develop a better country, continent and world.
Most of the players said they look forward to display their skills in the three-day event.
The tournament is expected to kick off on the 25th of this month.
