KWESE TV LAUNCHED IN NAMIBIA

Kwese TV currently operates in 24 countries, and as of today that includes Namibia. The sport channel will be broadcast on NBC 6 and NBC Director General Stanley Similo said it was a historic deal for NBC to sign.
“It’s one thing for us to invest in a production of this nature. The plans are there - it's just challenges of resources. We try to make sure we give the best service to our viewers by signing agreements of such nature. The only thing left is for us is to incorporate local content,” Similo explained.
Kwese TV was launched in 2016 in Kenya and according to Ben Amadasun, the Chief Executive Officer of Kwese TV, it is the only free to air channel to broadcast top sport tournaments 24/7. Kwese TV airs English Premier League as well as Spanish La Liga games, Formula One, Tennis, Rugby Tournaments and much more.
Amadasun said Kwese has grown to become a leading free to air sport television. The channel will broadcast English Premier League, Spanish La Liga Formula One, Tennis, Rugby Tournaments and many others. They will also partner with NBC to produce top quality local sport content to be broadcast on the channel as well.
