United determined to defend Premier League title

2019's Premier League Champions United are ready to defend their title come this year's season.
The men from Gemsbok park are all set for the new season as they kicked off their Pre-Season training on Tuesday evening in Windhoek.
With both the derby cup and Premier League cup trophy standing pretty in United's display cabinet, the pressure is on to try and retain it this coming season.
Robert Dickson is the head coach alongside ,Herman Stroh who will be handling the strength and conditioning aspect of the game, while United's former captain fantastic, Winmar Rust, will be assisting with the forwards especially in scrums and lineouts.
"We could like to defend the title. It’s easier to win a title than to defend it, but UNAM has showed that it is possible to win a title a couple years running " Dickson said.
The much-anticipated 2020 season will be kicking off in March with the best across the country battling it out for top honours.
“We are positive to defend our title and we will work hard, it's based on results so if players are keen and committed we can work with them. I'm sure we can lift the cup again" he added.
However first on the calendar is some good old fashioned 10-a-side rugby hosted by the champs themselves on the 7th and 8 of February.
