-The chairperson of the Hardap Irrigation Farmers Union, Dawie de Klerk has called on the Government to reconsider a moratorium to keep the Hardap Dam at a 70% level of its capacity.

-The Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry has authorised timber that was already harvested before the July moratorium on timber cutting in the Kavango East and West and Zambezi regions to be transported to wood factories within Namibia.
