Lack of parental involvement cited among contributing factors driving children to the streets

Lack of parental involvement as well as poverty are some common factors which drive children to the streets.
This was said by the Executive Director in the Ministry of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare, Esther Lusepani.
She was in the Omaheke Region to assess the state of street children as well as to acquaint herself with recent developments regarding a permanent solution for them.
