Suspect in Pick n Pay employee assault, arrested

The suspect in the assault of a Pick n Pay employee was arrested at his residence in Cimbebasia this morning.
He is due to appear in the Windhoek Magistrate's Court this morning.
This was confirmed by NAMPOL's Head of Public Relations, Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi.
This week a video went viral on social media, where a man together with his female companion were seen brutally attacking a female employee at a Pick n Pay retail store in Windhoek. It was later established that the duo are married. Pick n Pay condemned the incident and promised to provide support to its employees.
Pick n Pay Managing Director Graeme Mouton condemned the incident and promised to provide counseling to the employees.
