Finland to build houses in Keetmanshoop

The Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), the Keetmanshoop Municipality and the Finnish-Namibian Smart Community Consortium (SCC) have signed an agreement to conduct research in the construction of houses at the southern town.
An initiative of a group of Finnish and Namibian partners, SCC aims to respond to the challenges of rapid urbanisation and the pressing need for housing in different regions of Namibia.

NUST's three day symposium starts

The Namibia University of Science and Technology, NUST, says there is need for quality education system if Namibia is to achieve its national development plans. The Higher Education, Training and Innovation Minister has announced the appointment of new members of the Namibia University of Science and Technology, NUST, Council. Dr Itah Murangi-Kandjii says the council is the first to serve since the transformation of the Polytechnic of Namibia into NUST.

NUST Postgraduate students plan a peaceful protest at NSFAF

Postgraduate students at the Namibia University of Science and Technology will stage a protest march next week at the offices of the Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund, NSFAF, against a decision not to fund their courses without giving any reason.
