-A number of vehicles using the C14 roadblock in the Erongo Region to enter or leave Walvis Bay were turned back this week due to a lack of appropriate permits.
-The Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism (MEFT) has resumed the issuing of permits for timber transportation in Namibia after operations ceased in March this year.
-Only the Police regional commander for the Erongo Region and the station commanders of the police stations at Arandis, Swakopmund and Walvis Bay are authorised to issue permits, allowing persons to depart from the region during the COVID-19 lockdown period.
-Namibian students who intend to pursue studies in South Africa are urged to do so in time and not wait until the last minute.
-Permits are no longer required to enter the diamond mining town of Oranjemund in the //Karas Region.
